Ingredients
For 16 rolls:
1 package KANAKI PIZZA Dough
1 cup whole peeled plum tomatoes } Preparation time 15 min
1 green pepper
3 slices boiled chicken
3 slices smoked pork
1 sausage
250 gr. mozzarella } Baking time 15 min
3 tbsp olive oil
A little salt
Preparation - Steps
Preparing the kataifi:
Preheat the oven to 170-180°C (340-355°F).
Gently separate the kataifi strands to make them fluffy.
Melt the butter.
Lightly grease a baking tray with some of the melted butter.
Filling:
In a blender, combine the walnuts, crushed rusks, sugar, and cinnamon.
Blend well until the ingredients are evenly mixed.
Assembling:
Spread half of the kataifi evenly in the baking tray.
Drizzle with half of the melted butter and sprinkle the walnut mixture evenly on top.
Cover with the remaining kataifi.
Pour the remaining butter over the top.
Baking:
Bake at 170-180°C (340-355°F) until golden brown.
Once baked, let it cool completely.
Syrup:
In a saucepan, bring the water, sugar, and lemon to a boil.
Once the syrup thickens slightly, pour it hot over the cold kataifi.
Tip: For the best result, let the kataifi absorb the syrup completely before serving!
